Thank you for looking into 37 Studios. My name is Matt Dalton and I have been recording music since 1994. 37 Studios started in the basement of my house with a few mics and an 8 track tape recorder, and has expanded over the years to the ProTools equipped 4000+ sq ft facility I operate out of today. I have worked with countless bands and artists over the years and my passion for working with music grows with every project I work on!

I have a wide variety of tastes in music, helping me to specialize in a wide variety of genres such as alternative rock, metal, indie, acoustic, electro, as well as many of the "undefinable" genres that many bands fall into. I feel that while every recording must have the utmost professional quality, that does not mean every band needs to use the same preset sounds to achieve that result. I believe each artist is unique, and accordingly their recording should reflect that. I strive to find the individual sound of each project and bring it to its full potential, rather than put your music through an assembly line of factory guitar tones, preselected drum samples, and harshly auto tuned vocals. My approach is much more organic, utilizing top of line microphones and recording equipment, but most of all relying on my passion and experience to bring out the best in your music!

I encourage you to browse samples of my work, and even contact my clients as references if you would like to get a feel for their opinion of their experience here. Thank you so much for looking into what I have to offer, and I hope to be a part of your growing music career.

These Hearts worked dilligently with Matt Dalton to create a hard hitting and catchy full length record that landed them a deal with Victory Records! The album entitled "Forever Ended Yesterday" was co-produced with Craig Owens and is available worldwide June 21st.

Matt Dalton is hard at work on I See Stars'; follow up to their debut release "3D" on Sumerian Records. So far it is shaping up to be nothing short of brilliant. The band spent the Spring in the studio tracking the bulk of the instruments before heading out on Warped Tour, and now everyone has regrouped to finish work on synth and vocal elements on the record. Everyone here at 37 Studios is overly eager to get this project into the hands of masses!

37 Studios has made its mark across the country by helping many bands who have recorded here win slots on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour and other notable festivals.
Congratulations go out to No Such Thing (TX), I Saw A Ghost (VA), and Cabin Theory (NJ) for all landing slots on Warped, as well as Adora (IL) who was asked to play Cornerstone this year. Great bands, great music, and we are excited to be a part of all of their growing success!
Other notable projects to be on the lookout for include Adora (Chicago, IL), The Gamma Foundation featuring ex members of fordirelifesake (Detroit, MI), I Saw A Ghost (Gainsville, VA), Count To Four (NJ), Cabin Theory (NJ), A Fight For Life (GA) and These Hearts (ND).
